Private lessons are scheduled in 1.5 hour long classes and are designed for beginners. Classes are held at the studio off of 1st Ave S in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Learn how to center the clay, cone up, open, pull walls, and create a unique piece that you will handcraft yourself. Learn how to properly prepare the clay for throwing, process and dry your piece for firing, and glazing techniques. As a tailored class, you can choose the skills you want to focus on each session.
Private lessons include the clay, throwing tools, and trimming tools you will need to create each piece.
Firing fees are not included. Firing fees are based on the size of the piece you create, at a rate of $0.04 per cubic inch.
Sessions can be scheduled on weekdays between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm, or weekends between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
